It's hard to believe we've are in full swing of the 3rd Semester already!
Here's some upcoming events:

Wed. Feb. 2nd-Change Bandits Begin!
Our class is in charge of the fundraiser for our school! We're collecting change for Akron Children's Hospital. Check out the WKDD website.
Feb. 10th and 15th- Conferences

Super Bowl for Reading!

Starting today, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are participating in Super Bowl for Reading! Each class is competing for a chance to earn a pizza party next Friday. The class with the most books read before then wins! Check out our progress on the football field on the main bulletin board! Good luck!! :)

Brain POP Jr.

Our school has a new addition to our technology services: BRAIN POP! This site is a fun, interactive way for teachers to add instruction to our classrooms. Short videos, games, word walls, and quizzes help students learn standards related to classroom instruction. Although our school has bought a license for teachers only, family at home can access a limited free version.

Magazine Sale

The magazine sale began on Wednesday! Great job on bringing those postcard booklets back!

Just as a reminder...tomorrow IS the last day of the 9-weeks. We will still have our spelling test tomorrow.
IF you practice a game from our blog today (related to what we're studying!) such as math facts, SpellingCity, or English verbs....have a signed note from your parents or print out your score to get bonus points!
